First Day at Six Flags

Season passes at Six Flags are a blessing beyond words...Elena gets to run, ride rides, play, meet new friends every day- which that in itself is a reward all to it's own in her mind, as every new day brings a new "best friend", and much, much more...so here with our first photos of "sugar and spice"...may your summer be blessed!

Bubbles!!!

Nothing like finally enjoying warmer weather and celebrating it with bubbles!  As Eric finished off the planting portion of the backyard landscaping, Elena and I played in the bubbles since our help was not required...  ;)  Lot's of fun! LOVE watching Sheer Joy!

Finishing the Ceiling!

Eric has been working hard to finish all the improvements and changes to the house.  The ceiling in the red room is finally done!  The finished product of the whole room is going to be pretty special.  So proud of him! Wait until you see what all he has planned!  ;)

Divaaaaaaaaaa!

Someone got a hold of the paper towels left out last night...it's like a giant toilet paper roll...PARTY TIME!  Diva loves eating toilet paper, so we can never keep it on the actual rolls in the bathroom or she'll shred them because they are within her reach...oops!

Lightning!

We had some excitement the other night when a tree came down in our back yard form the tree farm.  We thought it was the high winds, but found out the next morning that the tree had been struck by lightning!  Eric and I usually like thunderstorms, but this was a bit too close to home!  Thank You, Lord, for keeping us safe!

Lawn Starting to Come Together!

It's starting to look good in the back yard!!!  I can not wait for our nightly fires and sunsets!

More planting!

Now that we know it's safe from frost, we've begun the ending of our landscaping!  YEA!  I finally got my pretty lilacs!  SO exciting!  I'm thinking Eric wasn't too keen on me taking photos of him in action...love you, Baby! ;)

ZOO!

With warmer weather and outdoor fun, comes some fun zoo time!  We had rain before we got there, then a reprieve long enough to enjoy the zoo, then as soon as we got back in the car, it rained again!  My favorites are still the Meercats!

Family Fun!

We finally have some warm weather...so off to the park(s) we go!  I'm wondering who had more fun, Elena or Daddy...and lots and lots of walks!
