Checking out more of Disney

Elena makes friends everywhere we go...literally...here's a picture of some kids she became "new best friends" with just before leaving our hotel. HA! We toured the Animal Kingdom Hotel and will probably try that one out next time we go...you can see giraffes from your room! Very cool! Elena liked the play area there! Then we went to the boardwalk for lunch and got to see a bride and groom...it was so neat because they were seeing each other for the first time. She walked up to surprise him from behind as he was getting photos done, and they cried...aaawwwwwww....sniff, sniff...moment here, folks...having a moment....hehe! Then it was off to The Villages for Grandma and Grandpa time and golf carting, swimming, going to the squares and relaxing! :)

Disney's Magic Kingdom!

That was a great day - not too busy or too hot! We got Elena to ride Pirates of the Caribbean TWICE! ;) We also got to see the shuttle launch which was pretty wild, and even saw huge duck families enjoying Disney...or rather, enjoying the spoils of Disney-goer's snacks! We'll have a couple posts for pictures!

Florida!

Our annual trip to Florida has come and gone, so here are some posts of what we've been up to!

We first started out at Disney, staying at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, right in the heart of Disney, and a hop, skip and jump to The Magic Kingdom. How neat that was to be so close! The rooms were really nice, the dining was excellent, and we can't wait to go back. ;) I will have a few posts of this!

Happy Mother's Day!

This weekend we celebrated in Chicago since I had a breast cancer walk to work at Sunday. Eric took us to the InterContinental Hotel, enjoyed a nice dinner out Saturday night along with some relaxing swimming, and then breakfast and shopping after I was done Sunday morning. Elena was all too thrilled to take the train once again, and to shop for something new at the American Girl Store. She chose a little dog named "Coconut", that she vehemently renamed "Diva" to bring home to her Lanie Doll. We are now on a mission to make her a new bed and pillow...Happy Mother's Day to all! I know mine was a very happy one! ;)
