Elena and Daddy play in the Snow

Just some fun shots of the two of them having fun in the snow...yeah, it's dark, but didn't stop them from a good snowball fight and enjoying the lights. :) That second one is the two of them yucking it up in the tree farm...you can BARELY see them out there, but I tried... :)

Snow!

Our first "Big Snow" came this weekend and so Monday was spent shoveling and attempting to make snowmen...too powdery, but still the effort was made! Elena had a blast watching the snow plow go up and down the street and even made a friend. He came up after clearing the streets to help clean off what he pushed up onto our driveway. I'm not sure if he thought Elena was just that cute, or if he felt bad that he'd made more work for me after shoveling everything clean...either way, we appreciate his kindness. Then hot soup to warm up was on the menu!

Merry Christmas!

We've been busy decorating, which kinda seems like we have for the last three weeks, but finally the fresh trees came out, so our trimming is complete! Now if we could just keep Elena from rearranging everything and taking ornaments apart, we'd be set. Enjoy~

Elena has been busy...

Elena has figured out how to use the camera...and believe it or not, most of the pictures are really good! Case in point...

Happy Thanksgiving!

And this is what it looks like to have Turkey Coma...hehehe!

Almost Thanksgiving and Starting to Celebrate...

Awww...the holiday shows are starting and I'm getting all nostalgic and misty-eyed as I see Elena enjoying what we used to as kids. Last night Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving was on. I used to think that his "Thanksgiving Dinner" he made for his friends with toast and popcorn was the coolest thing ever...hehe. Here's Elena ready for bed watching intently. Can't wait for the Christmas Specials to start!

We have MUCH to be Thankful For

As Thanksgiving approaches...

Philippians 4:5-7 "Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
1 Timothy 2: 1 "I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—"
This video was sent to me, and we pass it on...
