Round Lake Children's Museum

Friday we spent our usual preschool morning at the Round Lake Area Park District. Elena's teachers had continuing education classes in Chicago and arranged for us to have "school" in a different location. This is probably one of the neatest places I have ever seen for kids. They have a mini town built in one room, with gas station, cars to drive around, vet, house, grocery, construction site and stage fully stocked with costumes to name a few. The next room over is set up as a mini gym for kids, with mini exercise equipment, a climbing wall and slide. Elena did not want to leave! I wouldn't either if I were her age, and I had a pretty good time myself, being my age! :) I'll have a couple posts for pictures!

Yep...she's loading groceries into the trunk of the car, and washing the car at the gas station...she offered to help another person "pump gas" too!!!
